The bale clamps from Kemp are made for moving and picking up bales. These bale clamps are ideal for picking up rectangular bales, but it is also possible to transport round bales. The bale grabbers have two sliding tubes per clamping arm, so four in total. These four sliding tubes ensure that the force is distributed over the entire height of the clamp. This allows us to keep the clamps slim/narrow, which allows passage between close-lying bales.
The BKR is suitable as a bale clamp on a mobile crane, with or without turn-tilt head. Thanks to the rotator, bales can be picked up quickly and easily and put away, even while driving. The bale clamp is available in two different versions. The difference between these two is the clamping range. The BKR2.300 has a range of 700 - 2,300 mm and the BKR2.600 of 800 - 2,600 mm.
The clamping arms are 800 mm high and 1,000 mm long. Due to these high clamping arms, the bale can be easily reached in all positions, both from above and from the side.
The BKR is standard equipped with a pressure limiter. The weight of the BKR is ± 500 kg.
In case the mobile crane does not have a turn-tilt head, we can supply a rotator to the clamp. In the rotator is an oil transit designed so that it can be rotated unlimited and there are no loose hoses.
The bale clamp for rotator is available with the attachments that belong to your vehicle (for the attachment parts, see the document: Kemp attachment parts).
